!!!!!!!!!!!!!What the Hell is BPO!!!!!!!!!!!

Ask anybody in a metro and you will tend to get numerous suggestions, opinions, advices and all that you can think of। Yes you are right if you guess so, I am talking about BPO industry। This is well talked about industry which shook many erudite minds up to the hilt, when we were going through the presidential phase in the so called world-powerful country U।S।A। One of the major issues which Barack Obama took up was curbing the overseas business which cut down many jobs in U।S.A. How will it impact us, how will it impact U.S.A, what will be the economy and so on there were many complicated response to those questions doing the round in and out of media.
Being in this field I have observed many things which at times I kept on explaining to my significant others….the positives and the negatives. The 1st perception people carry is that BPO is an easy entry which is baseless though my entry was off curse facilitated without any hassles. Thanks to that Company. But once in for at least 6 months, your market value goes up like anything if you are inclined to act as a job hopper. You will be playing in 20K+ and playing with different companies. BPO sucks life...2nd perception. Well it may be correct but I would not say it holds water. We allow ourselves to limit the breaks, extend the shift and going on week-offs to earn those extra bucks which entices every one and has proved a bait for BPO employees to put in their best. Who could have imagined a simple graduate or undergraduate going for a shopping spree in malls, multiplexes, singing aloud in an ambience and smokey breath which also reeks of alcohol at times. Did ever our significant and experience lot spend the hard earned money so lavishly? The exposure to western life style coupled with purchasing power may be attributed to this.
Talking about the fairer sex which has been given equal rights in this industry, which is not prevalent anywhere else as compared to this one. Known for their instincts and adaptability power they have proved their mettle on most of the positions they were hired for. But qualities run across the situation and they do not differentiate the boundaries of limit ness. As is said "success comes with a price" so is the fame. And our ladies group is infamous for being adaptable to their male counterparts. BPO staffs are accused of having all sorts of habits which are considered immoral in our so called middle society which on its own is without any pillars and support. Smoking, drinking, having girl-friend/boyfriend, going for shopping or movie, exercising our independency and leading the life they want is – what they are accused of. The accuser loves their wards and wants a safe and secure life for them but would not allow them to live the life they want. Obviously this industry has given a power to control and power to exercise their desires in an explicit way.
But the most contrasting thing which almost every BPO employee talks about is that he/she wants to do something outside this industry despite heavy perks and a lavish life style and many more to count on.
This industry is notorious for not being corrupt, allowing people to lead their life financially well, unstable career opportunities, unapproved social relationships, constituting smoking and drinking habits, snatching job opportunities from source country and many more which I am unable to put into words.
Let us hope this industry thrives and our India becomes an epicenter for carrying out the business of powerful countries because only “Birds with a similar feathers flock together”।
